Primarily to maintain "Big government" and keep the populace dependant on them. This is a simple anwer ... If the government didn't offer financial aide then us the people would stay stupid and only have low income jobs thus paying less in taxes.. Government gives out aide for those that have a need to better themselves and to raise revenue coming back in the form of interest and higher tax bracket citizens into their pockets to pay for all the wonderful other benefits they offer us citizens. Goes with the motto: "You have to spend a little to make a little extra back."

I have missed twenty days of school myself on and off because I get sick way to easily as well. However don't worry about it!! You are most likely afraid because you are a good student, are worried about school work, teachers, friends, grades, and more!! That is okay, and it is normal. I have that same feeling and it's okay. You are worried for a lot of reasons but you will not get into trouble. And here is how to make sure that you don't get into trouble and help make you stress and worry less about it:Talk to your parentsTalk to your teachersIf you want you can even ask your principal or vice principal on what the rules about missing school and things like that are, as well as getting held back if you would like!Ask about schoolworkMake sure to find out if you missed any school workStudy hard and get your homework done on time and do your best on it!!Make sure to try your best to get good grades (because if you get good grades for example straight B's or A's or even one or two C's you will still have to be passed!! Even though you missed a lot you are still learning it even if it is late. Just try hard to get A's and B's is your best bet!! Just in case!)Ask your friends for helpGet your friends and classmates numbers to call if you miss school, homework, or just plain don't understand. I am sure though you won't get in to trouble!!Drink lots of water!! If you think you are getting sick try sitting out from P.E. or the workout and you may want to ask for a parent's not just in case if you need it. Eat well and take your vitamins! Don't eat group food meaning avoid large party group friends that pass around chips, dip, and things like that.
