Without specific information on the location and date of the election, it is not possible to provide a list of offices that candidates are running for. Elections can be held at various levels of government, including national, state/provincial, and local, and candidates can run for positions such as president, governor, mayor, senator, representative, council member, etc.

In the United States a person can pick up a number of the Fall Presidential election pamphlets. The following answer also applies to other elections as well. The best place to obtain pamphlets on all the candidates running for office is at the local political party headquarters of each candidate. Many of these locations are well established offices that can be found in the local phone book. If one cannot get to the locations of these party offices, very often the offices will be happy to mail them to you. Republican & Democrat offices are easy to find this way. Other candidates who are running from smaller parties may not be found in a phone book. In these cases the best way in my opinion is to telephone the local newspaper and ask for the department covering political parties.
known as a primary election or a party primary. In this type of election, party members choose their preferred candidate from a field of candidates who are running for the same party nomination. The winner of the primary election then becomes the official candidate for the party in the general election.
The elections office in each election puts out a booklet of candidates and bills that are in the election. The candidates submit a biographical statement of experience, education, views, political party, and philosophy of government. Newspapers also put out a election edition detailing the candidates views and biographies. If you don't get these things call the people running for office and ask them to send you the information. They will be glad to do it.
