WHAT TYPE OF MOTOR OIL SHOULD I USE FOR MY 2004 NISSAN TITAN
The oil filter is located under the car just to the right of the oil pan. You should use an oil filter wrench to remove the filter.
The oil filter on a 2006 Nissan Titan is located on the passenger side of the engine, near the front and below the exhaust manifold. It is accessible from underneath the vehicle, making it easier to reach for oil changes. You'll need to use an oil filter wrench to remove it. Always ensure the engine is cool and secure the vehicle before attempting maintenance.
Filter I use is Fram ExtraGuard PH7317 It's smaller than most for a V-8 but seems to do the job.
Change the filter every time you change the oil. I recommend you change your oil/filter every 5,000 miles if you use conventional oil or every 7,500 if you use synthetic.
zbif it's a 4x4, then you'll have to remove the skid plate. it's on the front of the engine, below the belts....and it is very small compared to filters for other v8's. Remember, titan's use 7 qts of oil
A quality filter such as AC/Delco is the filter your should use.
The same type filter you use with conventional oil. Just make sure to use a quality filter such as Wix, Purolator, Motorcraft, AC/Delco, Bosch, Mobil !, etc. Avoid a cheap filter.
I use Fram PA 6 but any size 6 oil filter should work
Hp 2004
A/c delco.
No, there is no special filter. Use the same filter you would with conventional oil.
