Can I use 80/90 luca gear oil
most motorcycles do not have separate tranny fluid, the motor oil is also lube for tranny.
Nowhere. Intruder doesn't have any transmission that takes trans fluid! Mostly 98% of bikes don't have transmissions. What you're looking for is a gear-box, which shares motor oil with the engine. 1. There is a 'glass-eye' fluid level window on the right, bottom side of crankcase. Your bike must be upright, not on side stand, and make sure the fluid is no higher than 'F"-full mark. 2. Use recommended 10W-40 MOTORCYCLE OIL ONLY. Preffered, semi-synthetic. Yes, semi-synthetic in this case is better than full synthetic. Has to do with lubricating/molecule bonding/heat temperature properties of a blend. 3. Never use automotive oil. These have special detergents and friction reducers that can make wet-clutch in your bike slip.
10/40 regular or synthetic I would not use 10/40 unless it was synthetic. Regular 10/40 breaks down too quick. You can also use 10/50 20/50 15/50
I use Honda motorcycle oil. Always been told it is a good quality oil, and never had any problems with it
The required gasoline for Suzuki motorcycle is Diesel gasoline.
The transmission fluid in a Suzuki Intruder is the engine oil.The engine uses a wet clutch,do not use any energy saving car oils.I have had good luck with Shell Rotella T which is now motorcycle certified JASO-MA.Try intruderalert.com for lots of info.
petrol
5w -30
10W40 or on what type of tranny it has
Suzuki 4- stroke motorcycle engine oil Sp-4A SAE 10W - 40
You should use Suzuki's 10W 40, but it is safe to use another brand of 10w 40 as long as it is a motorcycle motor oil. You will need an oil with wet clutch protection.
