It is the most common problem with most of the usb, for back up your files open Kaspersky Internet security and click on "Computer protection status" a new window will open click on "backup" tab, there you can found the deleted files. And.. what you are thinking is wrong..... Actual problem is the virus that makes you feel like that The virus hides the folders and shows the files with .exe extension as folders, it is where you are confused. If you want to open those folders you should have WINRARbecause it will show hidden files also.
