In Excel, the options allow you to adjust your print output, as desired. The most helpful option is to let Excel automatically scale your spreadsheet to fit on a single printed page.
Go to Page Setup and click on the Header/Footer tab. Add whatever text and special options you like to the footer and click OK.

In print preview, there is an option to align your printed page. Just click on the box in front of the option you want. Click again to remove the check mark and go back to normal page alignment.
