You might be referring to the lysosomes with in the cell which contain the digestive enzymes needed to breakdown complex molecules into more simpler ones (the cell nucleus determines what to do with the simpler 'building blocks' and what to make next). The busting of a lysosome accidentally can kill the cell by digesting it slowly, this is referred to as apoptosis.

What is the main function of lysosomes in the cell?

Lysosomes are cell organelles that function as the "clean-up crew" by breaking down and recycling waste materials, old cell components, and foreign substances.

What do the cytosol and organelles make up?

The cytosol and organelles together make up the cytoplasm of a cell. The cytosol is the gel-like fluid where organelles are suspended and various cellular processes occur. Organelles are membrane-bound structures with specific functions within the cell.

What is the clean up crew of a cell?

The clean up crew of a cell consists of organelles such as lysosomes and peroxisomes, which are responsible for breaking down and recycling cellular waste and debris. They help maintain cellular cleanliness and prevent the accumulation of unwanted materials that could potentially harm the cell.

What eats dead organelles and cleans cells?

Lysosomes are organelles within cells that contain enzymes responsible for breaking down cellular waste, including dead organelles. This process is known as autophagy and helps to clean and recycle cellular components.

What contain digestive enzymes that are used to clean up the cell digest bacteria or breakdown worn organelles?

Digestive enzymes that clean up the cell by digesting bacteria or breaking down worn organelles are contained within lysosomes. These membrane-bound organelles contain hydrolytic enzymes that facilitate the breakdown of various biomolecules, including proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids. Lysosomes play a crucial role in cellular maintenance and homeostasis by recycling cellular components and removing debris.

Where are orginelles found in a cell?

A cell is made up of organelles, so everything in the cell is an organelle.

Do all the organelles have cell organelles in their cell?

no

Is an organelle a type of cell?

No, it is not. An organelle is actually the components that are inside the cell itself. Think of organelles as your organs and yourself as the cell. The organs inside you make up your body. The organelles make up the cells.
