Volcanoes can affect the biotic and abiotic components in are environment by causing a chain reaction
In the water cycle, biotic factors might include fish, plant life, reptiles and other aquatic animals. Abiotic factors might include rocks, minerals, vitamins and the likes.

logswaterwell the abiotic factors are found in an ecosystem. not the community. The platypus uses the sunlight. It uses the sun to dry itself when it gets wet. It also uses the trees found around it to make its home. The water might be self explanatory. it uses it to drink from and cleanse itself in.
The number of frost-free days and competition between species of introduced grasses and native alpine grasses
the abiotic factors that can cause a whooping crane's population to decrease are water, air, space, and breeding grounds.
As far as I understand it, the ocean and the elements that make it up are the only abiotic factors involved. So, one might be nitrogen or something like that.
Abiotic factors that might limit the population of whooping cranes are natural disaster, pollution, water, sunlight, ect.. Remember: abiotic means not living. So the abiotic factors that limit a population have to be factors that are not living, such as the sun.

A species' survival depends on it's ability to stay within the parameters set by external stimuli and biotic & abiotic factors. The faster a species can adapt to stay within these parameters, the more effective it will be in that environment, and the better it's chance is for survival.

By destroying the homes of animals etc...

Things that might limit resources or threaten survival for plants would include items like overuse of fertilizer or pesticides which can damage the soil. Also, pollution and smog can threaten survival for plants because these interrupt the light that plants require.

Abiotic factors are nonliving items in the raccoon's environment. They include soil, sand, rock, gravel, water, air and light. Biotic factors are living organisms that share the raccoon's environment, such as plants, other animals, bacteria, fungi, etc.
Abiotic factors are the nonliving components that are present in an ecosystem. Abiotic factors that might affect a leopard would be temperature and water. The leopard would need a sufficient supply of fresh water to remain hydrated. Extreme temperatures would negatively affect the health of the leopard, as well as the availability of prey.
