Jehovah
In Hebrew Scripture:Over the course of the exile, the exact pronunciation of יהוה has been lost. (The usual transliterations, Jehovah or Yahweh, are inaccurate renditions based on a misunderstanding of the the way it is printed in such vocalized texts as Hebrew prayerbooks and printed Tanakhs.)
The name יהוה is not pronounceable for us, due to to a religious prohibition for Jews (Mishna, Sanhedrin ch.11), and also to the fact that the way in which it would be pronounced is today not known. While the Temple in Jerusalem still stood, only the Kohen Gadol would pronounce this name of God and only one day a year. The remainder of the time, less explicit names of God, including Adonai or Elohim, were used; and that is what we do today also, in prayers, blessings and Torah-reading. In daily conversation in English, we use English words (God, or the idiomatic "Hashem," which refers to God but is not an actual name).
The true God has many titles. Some are as follows: Almighty (Revelation 15:3) Father (John 5:21) Grand Instructor (Isaiah 30:20) The Rock (Deuteronomy 32:4) Shepherd (Psalm 23:1) Other titles include Lord and God. Despite his many titles, God has only one name and that is found at Psalms 83:18, "That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the most high over all the earth." (NWT) Many bible translators have removed Jehovah's name from The Bible in order to support the idea of the Trinity. In the end, their efforts will prove futile, as Ezekial 6:10 says "And they will have to know that I am Jehovah; not in vain did I speak about doing to them this calamitous thing." (NWT)
God can have many different names considoring the context of the religion, for example based just on Christianity there are many names for God in the bible as there are many names for Jesus. God, The Divine, The Holy Trinity, The Divine Being, Supreme Being, All-Knowing, All-Powerful, All-Loving, The Only God.
This can be different in different religions and religions such as Hinduism are polytheistic and have a belief in many Gods and Goddesses.
