A couple of years ago, I would have said "Pluto" which has one moon - Charon. But Pluto has been demoted to "dwarf planet" or "Trans-Neptunian object", so it seems earth is the only planet with just one moon in our solar system.
Only Earth has exactly one moon.
because it wanted to. :)
Earth is the only planet known to have only 1 moon.
we only have 1 moon
Well no outer planet has only one moon they all either have more than 1 or none at all.
The planet Mars has only two moons, Phobos and Deimos.
Mars is the only inner planet in our solar system with more than one moon. It has two small moons called Phobos and Deimos.
No known planet does. Earth is the only planet in the solar system to have only one moon, but it is one of the largest moons in the solar system. Mars has two tiny moons named Phobos and Deimos. The giant planets of the outer solar system all have an assortment of moons big and small.
a planet is much larger than a moon. sometimes a planet can have many moons but a moon can only have 1 planet. the moon orbits the planet but the planet orbits a star (such as the sun) ect.
The first US spacecraft to enter into an orbit around a planet other than the moon was Mariner 2, which orbited Venus in 1962.

Without going to look it up, I'm pretty sure there's only1 planet with 1 moon, and only 1 planet with 2 moons.
