Hi you can fit an Isuzu 1.8 or 20l or 2.2 or 2.4 or 2.5 d or 2.8d
might have to change bell housing and clutch plate on different models depends on which side the starter fits .
I had quite a few conversions done on the isuzu like Ford v6 -Toyota 2c d. Fitted with adaptor plates made up to suite and a few changes

I'm not sure what engine you have but on the 4ze1 which is what I have in my trooper having the arrows face both up (cam gear and crank pulley) means the engine is in tdc for the number 4 cylinder. If the arrows are facing one another it is tdc for number 1 cylinder.
