There is no cold medication that shows up as Meth on a drug test. Sudafed is used in the manufacture of Meth, but taking Sudafed will not make you test positive.
While there are amphetamine based meds on the market, the test is looking for certain chemicals uniquely found in Meth. However, since meth is an amphetamine based drug, it is possible that a drug test could show a positive result if you are taking amphetamine based medicine. A drug test should not show a positive result in those circumstances, however not every manufacturer makes their tests the same. It would be your responsibility to inform the tester if you are taking amphetamine based meds PRIOR to the test.
