I think it's just not to judge a book by its cover... Example: Freak is really short but very smart Example: Max's dad seems really tough on the inside but hes acctually sort of sensitive (He cries one time while talking to max)
It was said by Brad Johnson in the movie Always
1) Kevin's dictionary. Kevin's dictionary is not only a book, but it's also Kevin's favorite book. It's a symbol of Kevin's knowledge and desire to express his knowledge throughout the book. 2) Kevin's squirt gun filled with "sulphuric acid." It shows that Max and Kevin's friendship is so strong that Kevin will disobey his mother and go try to save Max instead of waiting in the car. 3) Blade's blade. (Tony D's knife). It's a symbol of fear, because he waves it around just to scare people. 4) The blank journal that Freak gave to Max to write down their adventures in. It is a symbol of remembrance because Freak gave it to him right before he died. 5) I'm sorry, but I can't think of a 5th symbol. FIGURE IT OUT YOURSELVES
When the world began the mighty Damian Kuru decried that. Quote; "F*** it, this will mess with some peoples heads one day."
This is often incorrectly attributed to Goethe... but it's actually Canadian author and pastor Basil King, when he was speaking about overcoming fear.In the film "Almost Famous" Cameron Crowe misquotes this as Goethe which contributed to the confusion. Goethe 's closest quote was "Boldness has genius, power and magic in it."In "Almost Famous", it is William Miller's mother, played by Frances McDormand, who attributes the quote to Goethe. Miller's character is based on Crowe, who worked for Rolling Stone as a teenager.
Calvin O. Butts made this quote back in 1994. It was later featured on Bone Thugs-n-Harmony's "Thuggish Rubbish-Bone" in 1995
