This person above me said that Witchcraft created an absense of religion... that is wrong on so many levels. For one, Witchraft can be considered a religion, a way of life, it has its own belief and value systems. So the entire play is about religion in one way or another, and the intolerance of Puritains of anything that goes against what they beleive.
