i don't think Honda CRVs are rear wheel drive...pretty sure there only front wheel drive and those use half shafts not drive-shafts.
Yes it has a left and right one is long and one is short.
No. It is the connection between the transmission and drive shafts.
the drive belt is the belt or belts that runs off the harmonic balancer and drives all the accessories-alternater powersteering water pump aircondition compressor and anything else
NO it will not. The center shafts or different lengths. The center shafts in the 4-wheel drive transmissions are longer so the transfur case will fit onto it.
No there are Cv joints which connect directly from the tranny to the front wheels and act as drive shafts. Most rear wheel drives will have drive shafts as to connect from front to back. The reason CV's must be used in front wheel drive is because of the wheels being used for turning. If it was a drive shaft to the wheels, they would not be able to move.
Only with drive shafts removed.Only with drive shafts removed.
Transmission problem
The drive shafts connect the transfer case and differentials.
In a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive transmission setup, the primary shafts include the input shaft, which connects to the engine and transmits power to the transmission, and the output shaft, which delivers power to the rear axle and drives the wheels. Additionally, there may be a countershaft that assists in gear changes and torque distribution. These shafts work together to enable the vehicle's propulsion and facilitate gear shifts.
