Storms can be used as a noun and a verb.

As a noun, it is the plural form of storm. Example: The weather calls for numerous storms this week.

As a verb, it is the 3rd person conjugation of storm. Example: He storms into the room, yanks the remote from his son's hand, and turns off the all-too-loud television.
