Bell peppers are botanically fruits, but are generally considered in culinary contexts to be vegetables. The Grocery industry keep on profiling this fruit as a vegetable. This leads to much confusion regarding the terms Vegetable and Fruit. A vegetable is however a part of a plant which does not contain seeds. Bell Peppers are fruits since thy most certainly have got seeds in them. Bell Peppers is however not a type of pepper, but that is another story.
