Photosynthesis is the part of a plant that gives off oxygen. Plants must have oxygen in order to live just as they must have water. They must also have light.
stomata ( under the leaves )
Leaves do most of the oxygen producing. As long as the plant still has other leaves to process photosynthesis with, plucking one leaf won't do too much harm.
oxygen
The steps of the Oxygen Cycle are 1. A plant does Photosynthesis to let off Oxygen for organisms to use. 2.The humans use up the Oxygen through Respiration and let off Carbon Dioxide. 3. The Carbon Dioxide is then passed from the humans to the green plants once again. Then it repeats.
Until plants formed there wouldn't have been enough oxygen. We need oxygen - even though there's only about one part of it in five parts of air. Plants take in carbon dioxide and give off oxygen.
plants do it by photosynthesis. And animals do it by respiration
oxygen
no because a plant gives off oxygen
Carbon Dioxide, or CO2, through the process of photosynthesis.Water + Carbon Dioxide =(energy)= Glucose + Oxygen
Three byproducts of photosynthesis are glucose, oxygen and water.
Plant cells can give off oxygen when photosynthesis occurs. They give out carbon dioxide when they respire when there is no light available.
grass important because it is a plant and gives us us oxygen
yes.. obviously. It needs oxygen to live, and it gives off carbon dioxide. So yes, a tree is a plant. What describes a plant?.........now look for a tree and reflect Improved:: Yes a tree is a plant, however they do not take in oxygen and give off CO2..Its just the opposite,Trees take in the CO2 (carbon dioxide) and produce O2(oxygen).......
YES!!! All GREEN Plant material gives off oxygen. Carbon dioxide is a heavy gas, and fall to the ground. Whereupon it is absorbed by green plant life. Then in the process of photosynthesis, carbon dioxide in broken down (decomposed) into oxygen and the carbon component remains in the plant as biomass. The oxygen is released back into the atmosphere, for animals to breath. It is part of the 'carbon' and 'oxygen' bio-chremical cycles on Earth. Photosynthesis, does not occur at night, when there is no UV light from the Sun.
Plant leaves have openings called stomata.
Leaves are a part of a plant. Plants TAKE IN carbon dioxide and GIVE OFF oxygen.THEREFORE, leaves do not give oxygen. :D Leaves are however key part of the photosynthesis process.
