What is the green party support base?
Their support base? If you mean what type of people support the green party then it is regular people from all parts of the country (and even world if their country has a green party). The ideas of the Green Party tend to attract what is seen as liberal minded people. The green party cares about ecology, campaign and election reform, civil rights, government and corporate transparency, along with federal reserve auditing, ending foreclosures and corporate welfare. People who agree with those things who do not find satisfaction in the democratic or republican party who agree with those causes tend to support the green party.

Advantages of two party system?
-- Multiparty systems tend to encourage regional voting, so a two-party system will tend to have some support from throughout a country or other electoral unit. -- Two-party systems tend to be quite stable and predictable (although obviously not as stable as a one-party system, which has obvious disadvantages). -- With two parties, the candidate who wins almost always has a majority of the votes or close to it. In some other systems, a candidate can be elected even though supported by a small minority. -- Both parties in a two-party system tend to see broad support and thus tend to become politically moderate and better able to rule. In the USA, for example, both major parties have solid bases they can count on, so they seek support from the center.

What is the difference between political party and interest group?
The difference is that a political party is part of how a politician is identified and interest groups are groups that focus specifically on certain issues. Depending on the issue interest groups tend to support a political party. For instance the NRA which is for less strict gun control laws associates themselves with the Republican Party. An interest group that is supportive of equal rights for all Americans would associate with the Democrat Party.
Asked in Judaism, Barack Obama
Why do American Jews support Barack Obama?
American Jews as a voting group tend to be socially liberal (there are some exceptions, mainly Orthodox Jews, but they are not a large percentage of America's Jewish population), and they tend to be Democrats. Further, even many of those who are Independent feel the Republican party has become far too conservative. They are uncomfortable about how (as they see it) today's Republican party is dominated by an extremist faction that wants to impose a certain theology and a certain set of moral beliefs on everyone. Also, contrary to myths spread by a number of Republican politicians, Mr. Obama is not anti-Israel, nor is he anti-Semitic, so there is no reason why the average Jewish voter would find the president difficult to support.
