Extreme poverty
Absolute poverty would be describing someone who owns nothing. Relative poverty is someone who makes less then a certain amount of money per year, putting them well below the average income level.
No, 200 percent of the poverty line means that a family's income is twice the poverty line, not 200 percent above it. For example, if the poverty line is $20,000, then 200 percent of that would be $40,000. Therefore, the family is at the threshold of twice the poverty level, not an additional 200 percent above it.
Try starting out with a statistic such as "We live in the world's wealthiest nation. Yet 13 percent of people living in the United States live in poverty." (bread for the world) -saf
the different kinds of poverty are income poverty, non-income poverty, relative poverty and absolute poverty.
I hope there are only two types. The Absolute and Relative poverty.
