What percentage of American's judge based on appearance?
Controversly it's actually 100%
How has the black American race affected todays society and the way you view the term multicultalism?
Jesus Christ said don't judge people based on their appearance. It is in the Holy Bible, so I have been cool about multiculturalism no matter where I go. America has new immigrants as well as people whose ancestors have been here for a long time. All Americans citizens are just as American as the rest.
This notion, hiring individuals based on appearance, stems from a variety of reasons. First of all, no matter how much you want to deny it, people make assumptions about your personality based on your "looks". This is unavoidable, it is human nature. However, that does not excuse the vulgarity of it; it is still unfortunate because this judging does not always prove to be correct. For an employer, your first impression is likely to be…
We should hear the Word´s of our Lord, and not judge according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. Therefore when we do not seek our own will, but the will of God, then shall our evaluations, determinations, and conclusions, be just. The tree is known by its fruit, not by it, the appearance of the tree; but what kind of fruit it produces.
Basically, He was telling all not to judge another with the standards of mankind. We are to 'judge' or point out our brothers and sisters mistakes/errors in their ways, but we are to do so in love, using God's righteous judgments (imitating the Ways and words of Jesus): John 7:24 New King James Version (NKJV) 24 Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment."
