G1.
There are 4 phases;
- G1 (growth)
- S (synthesis of DNA)
- G2 (further growth)
- M (mitotic division)
The G1 phase is the longest, as the cell needs to go through a G0 checkpoint, which makes sure there is no damage to the DNA.
Interphase also known as the cytokinesis is the longest phase of mitosis (cell division).
The cell must spend most of its' time in interphase during the job it is assigned.
I think it is metaphase
interphase
Interphase.
Interphase - which includes the G1, S and G2 phases.
Interphase is the first and longest stage of the cell cycle.MORE: Interphase is made up of three distince phases (G1, S and G2 phase). The problem is that the cell cycle phases are actually all rather fluid; they overlap and can vary in length. In addition in some cases the cell does not need to undergo the full G1 or G2 phases such as in the early replication of zygotes. The actual longest phase of the cell cycle is what is called "G0". This is the state the cell goes into where it is not preparing for the cell cycle. Most of your cells are in G0 right now.
They are the liver cells. they are at G0 phase
Interphase is the longest phase of the cell cycle because it's the phase between divisions. It involves G1, S, G2, and G0 phase where the cell goes through growth after its division and then preperation to go through mitosis again.
In the cell cycle of cancer cells interphase is still the longest phase. However, interphase is shorter in cancer cells than in normal cells.
Interphase is 90% of the cell cycle.
The G1 phase
Interphase - which includes the G1, S and G2 phases.
Interphase is the longest phase in the cell cycle lasting 18 of the 20 hour cycle. In mitotic cell division cycle, the longest phase is G1 phase which lasts for 10 hours,S phase is for 9 hours,G2 phase for 4 hours and shortest phase is M phase which lasts for 1 hour.

The phase of the cell cycle that the type of brain cells are in is Metaphase.
Interphase is the longest of the cell cycle. Interphase, the busiest phase of the cell cycle, is divided into three parts.

No cells are. Every single cell has interphase in the cell cycle. So interphase is always the longest part of the cell cycle. I'm an 8th grade teacher in science so hope that helps!
