A syntactic word is one formed from separate morphemes, or root words (e.g. blueberry which incorporates the adjective blue). There may not be any one-word syntactic adverbs, but there are many adverbial phrases which contain no adverbs.
Phrases are groups of words that function as a single unit in a sentence but do not contain both a subject and a predicate to form a complete thought. They can be noun phrases, verb phrases, or prepositional phrases, among others. Examples include "the big red ball" and "walking in the park."
The word time is a noun and the word phrases is a noun. If you wish to use them together as a term, the term would be a noun.
