∙ 12y agoShe is on a dollar coin that is similar in size to a quarter.
The quarter was not the first coin for New Jersey. As a matter of fact, the first coin in the United States was the 1792 Half Dime. This coin was slightly smaller than our current dime.
That is the New Jersey coin.
One US quarter has a weight, when new, of 5.67 grams or 0.2 ounces.
Please post a new question with the coin's date. The "lady" is Miss Liberty and her picture graced the front of all US quarters issued from 1796 to 1930, so more information is needed to ID a specific coin.

A newer quarter minted after 1965 weighs 5.67 grams.
Two types of US quarters were struck in 1916 a Barber quarter and a Standing Liberty quarter. Post new question with type of coin please.
Please post a new question. All quarters minted in 1890 were Seated Liberty quarters with a picture of Miss Liberty on the front and an eagle on the back. If your coin is one of the new State Quarters, it has TWO dates on it: the admission date for the state being honored is at the top of the coin's reverse, and the minting date is at the bottom. But Michigan was admitted to the Union in 1837 so if you have its State quarter it wouldn't have 1890 at the top.
