Neptune
Neptune is the eighth planet in the solar system, as per its distance from the sun. It also became the last planet in our solar system, after Pluto was re-categorized as a dwarf planet. Neptune is almost 4 times the size of Earth and is 30 times as far away from the sun as Earth. Its axis tilts about 28 degrees from the perpendicular position, causing sun to heat its northern and southern halves alternately, resulting in seasons and temperature changes. The equator is an imaginary line that divides the world into two halves. It is also the boundary between north and south, each half is called a "hemisphere", one half being called the northern hemisphere, and the other half being called the southern hemisphere.
The equator divides the Earth into equal halves known as the Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere. The equator is an imaginary line that runs horizontally around the globe and is positioned exactly halfway between the North Pole and the South Pole.
Half of any sphere is a 'hemisphere'. In the case of the equator, the halves north and south of it are called the Earth's 'northern hemisphere' and 'southern hemisphere'.
The imaginary line that divides the Earth into the northern hemisphere and the southern hemisphere is called the equator. It is an imaginary line located at 0 degrees latitude and circles the Earth, dividing it into two equal halves. It is used as a reference point for navigation and to determine climatic zones.
