What do viruses have to rely on for replication?

They rely on their host. They can not reproduce on their own, so they are not considered living. They inject genetic information into a host cell and make the cell produce more viruses.

What is an example of tugor pressure?

Turgid pressure is the outward pressure that happens in a plant cell when the vacuoles and cytoplasm fill up with water. It pushes the plasma membrane against the cell wall of bacteria, plant, and fungi cells.

Which is not part of an animal cell?

The part of the human body that is not a part of a cell is the extracellular environment which includes interstitial fluid, lymph, plasma, and cerebrospinal fluid. This in turn may contain other substances depending on which part of the body they are located. For example, connective tissues in the body rely on the extracellular matrix which gives them their properties. The most apparent one is the extracellular matrix that is mostly made of calcium and can be found as the hard parts of bone.

What cell process requires energy?

Cell respiration requires the process of energy and cells rely on active transport to provide the amount of energy.

Why do plant cells need to have a cell wall where as animal cells do not?

There are a number of reasons: Plants cannot move and thus require more protection than animals (unicellular and multi-cellular) which are able to move away from danger. Cell walls provide structural strength against mechanical damage as well as invasion from fungi and bacterial pathogens. Plants do not have a central or exoskeleton like animals and insects and have to rely on internal structural strength to support themselves. This enables them to grow towards light, water or nutrient sources. Plant cells need a cell wall to maintain shape, structure and rigidity. Animal cells don't need cell walls because they have micro filaments and micro tubules to hold the shape of the cell. The cell wall of the plant cell is made up of cellulose. Cellulose is a complex carbohydrate.
