Although there is considerable debate on this point, probably more people pick one or other of the three Henry VI plays than any other. Part 3 is the one we have the first certain reference to in 1592 by Greene, although there is also record of a performance of a Harey VI on March 3, 1591 by Lord Strange's Men (could be Shakespeare, although not clear which part).
