The solar system.
There can't.
because our system is centered around the sun and another name for the sun is "solar"
a sun centered solar system
The Earth-centered solar system was thought to be sun-centered in the 16th century by astronomers such as Nicolaus Copernicus. Copernicus published his model in 1543, proposing that the Sun, not the Earth, was the center of the solar system. This heliocentric model eventually gained acceptance over the previously held geocentric model.
Ptolemey and Arostotle
Nicolaus Copernicus (1473-1543) was a Polish astronomer and mathematician. He proposed that the sun was at the centre of the solar system and that the earth revolves around it while spinning on it's axis. This heliocentric model was very controversial at the time, especially with the catholic church.
Since all of the solar system revolves around the sun (sun-centered model),and not the moon it would makes sense why its called solar system and not lunar
