Here is what God said in the Book of Genesis 1: 31 when he finalised his creation. "After that God saw everything he made, and look ! IT WAS VERY GOOD.
Deuteronomy 32: 4 reads: " The Rock, perfect is his activity, For all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness who is never unjust; Righteous and upright is he.
Psalm 104: 24 reads. " How many your works are, O Jehovah ! You have made all of them in wisdom. The earth is full of what you have made.
These few Scriptures that describe 'The Most High' tell us a lot about God's personality, as someone happy with what he created with wisdom. So it is our role to try to understand the positive impact insects have, on our world, which would take more than a span of our life time of 70/80 years to understand. Read Psalm 90: 10.
Life is everwhere around us. It is evident in the humming of insects. It exists in the icy polar regions and in parched deserts. It is present from the sea's sunlit surface to its darkest depths. Beneath our feet untold trillions of microorganisme are at work in the soil, making it fertile for the growing of green plants, which sustain other forms of life.
However, the world of science has discovered that wasps can make paper, bees make honey and have an important role on trees. Termites can install air conditioners, ants do gardening or sewing or keep livestock. We can just marvel at such ingenuity.
Nevertheless, no one likes being bitten by wasps, bees, ants, and mosquitoes.
Here is what The Bible teaches us about ants in the Book of Proverbe 6: 6-8
" Go to the ant, you lazy one; observe its ways and become wise. Although it has no commander, officer, or ruler, it prepares its food in the summer, And it gathers its food supplies in the harvest."
The Bible also teaches that God's purpose for mankind was and still is that we live forever on earth, so we will have a lot of time to become more familiar with His creation. Read Genesis 2: 17; Psalms 37: 29; John 17: 3.
