I know that in a monestry, a monk is aloud, a razor to shave all their hair of, needle and thred to repair their clothes, a strainer to remove any bugs out of the river water, a bowl, because they are not aloud to handle any money, a belt, and a plian robe or dress. I think that nuns might be slightly different
