There are many differences between a liquid foundation and a powder foundation. The most noted difference among consumers is how one might go about applying the foundation.
Foundation can either be a liquid or a powder. Liquid foundation, Powder Finish, Pressed Powder, Etc, you can find all in Wal-Mart or Wal-Greens or any other drugstore or even an expensive website if you wish. Hope I helped you out ! :D
you have powder and liquid foundation.
Liquid foundation is for people with dry skin and powder foundation is best used on oilier skin. http://www.sephora.com/browse/section.jhtml?categoryId=S10801
liquid might wear off your skin because of sweat.. on the other hand powder foundation can feel heavy and clog your poures.. the best option is to use liquid set it with a tiny amount of (translucent) powder and buy a fixing spray.. for example (mac fix +)
It's basically just makeup in a powder form. Just like your regular pressed powder, that's not pressed. It's used after your foundation to set your makeup and to create a more natural, flawless look compared to that of pressed powder. Pressed powder is more for you to use when you're on-the-go and to keep in your purse.
It really depends on what type of foundation you're using. If you're using liquid, apply concealer after. If using cream, the order is optional. If using powder, concealer goes on first.
Depends on the coverage you are trying to achieve. Cream will give the most coverage followed by liquid and the pressed and loose powder achieve a sheer coverage. Cream, liquid or pressed powder can be used under loose powder. Be sure to use a large fluffy brush for the loose powder application for the best result.
wash and tone your face first then apply mosturiser and primer and after applying liquid foundation put powder on and you will definatly not get flakey skin
If you apply foundation but not powder your face will looks shiny and greasy. Adding powder creates a matte effect, silky smooth with perfect skin. Also, applying powder will make your foundation last longer.
