Consumed in moderation, alcohol causes no problems for the liver. However, heavy and abusive drinking over a period of decades increases the risk of developing cirrhosis of the liver.
Abusive alcohol drinking constantly over a period of many years or decades can cause liver problems.
Alcohol can cause liver disease, obesity, heart problems, and cause social problems such as job loss and family violence.
To much alcohol can cause liver failure.
You can, but it's not recommended. The reason for this is, codeine is a narcotic and alcohol is, well, alcohol. The alcohol will increase the effects of the codeine. But also don't forget that codeine is generally composed with Acetaminophen (Tylenol) which is hard on your liver, and so is alcohol of course. Prolonged use of either or both can cause many liver problems such as: an enlarged liver, liver spots, cirrhosis of the liver, and(or) hepatitis.
Hepatitis microbes, alcohol in excess over time, tropical diseases, genetic problems, immunosuppressive problems, drug abuse (legal and illegal), side effects from drugs, bacterial and viral problems can all damage the liver and cause liver disease.
Liver disease, pancreatitis and a variety of cardiovascular problems. Various cancers have also been linked to heavy alcohol use.
LIVER
ALOT.
Alcohol affects liver function all by itself. Prednisone and alcohol can cause liver and pancreatic damage, as can prednisone alone.
Mixing alcohol with any "downer" like xanex or klonipin (however you spell it) can and will lead to liver failure and heart seizure. This means to much alcohol or to much klonipin taken together will cause your heart to stop and cause severe liver damage or failure. Most prescription medicine when taken with alcohol will cause the alcohol to be stagnate in more contrated toxic form in your system causing rapid liver damage. To much at once or on a regular basis will cause liver failure along with other problems. Even mixing the two once can cause fatal damage. NEVER TAKE ALCOHOL AND PERSCRIPTION MEDICINE TOGETHER!!!!
ask your doctor, oxycodone can cause liver problems if abused
seizures and liver problems like cancer.
