The gas molecules carried the scent or scents
Breathing :/ dude your doing that right now rip one and see how you smell it. XD
Diffusion of the perfume in the air allows you to smell it at a distance source. Diffusion is the process by which the particles of a substance move from an area of higher concentration (the original source) to an area of lower concentration (everywhere else in the room).
The process that allows us to smell food being cooked in another room is called olfaction. When food is heated, it releases volatile aromatic compounds into the air. These molecules travel through the air and enter our nasal passages when we inhale, where they bind to olfactory receptors. This binding sends signals to the brain, allowing us to perceive the scent of the cooking food from a distance.
When something is burning, molecules are released into the air, which then travel through the air and reach your nose. Your sense of smell detects these molecules, even if they are far away in the room, allowing you to smell something that is burning on the other side of the room.
We smell because of particles in the air. Air currents , due to people moving about or fans in the room. carry the particles across the room and the nerves in your nose detect them.
This is due to the process of diffusion.
Diffusion is the process by which the particles that make up a smell move from an area of high concentration to an area of lower concentration, spreading the smell throughout the room.
No. Vapour does not smell.
because you can
its because of the phenomena known as diffusion, diffusion is the process in which the molecules move from the region of higher concentration to the region of lower conc. so when the stick is burnt the smell diffuses to the region of lower conc. as fast as possible.
the gas in the room freshener mixes with the air in the room and as air moves , the smell from the room freshener spreads through out the room
in agerpathi the material which is used have a specific smell when we lighted it in da room the material start burning n the resultent gases start diffusing from higher concentration to lower concentrotion so that's why we feel the smell in the corners other then in which the agerpathi is lighted
