In the Krebs Cycle also known as the Citric Acid Cycle\

FDH2, Reduced form of Flavin adenosine dinucleotide, is an electron donor-acceptor molecules that can transfer the energy (bond) from one molecule to the next, and you are most likely to find it in oxidative phosphorylation process (these are the process where oxygen is the final electron acceptor to form ATP).

in the metabolism of fat and glucose FADH2 is produce during Beta oxidation and in the citric acid cycle

general mechanism:

Fatty acid C16 + FAD^+ ====> Fatty acid C14 + acetyl-Coa +FADH2

Succinate + FAD^+ ====> Fumarate + FADH2

In the Krebs (Citric Acid) Cycle of Cellular respiration, after the FAD is oxidized, it gains 2 hydrogen (H+) and becomes FADH2
