What ingredient in laundry soap makes clothes clean?
Either soap or detergent depending on formula. If you actually specifically meant laundry soap then it is soap, as they contain only soap not detergent. Most modern laundry cleaners use only detergents not soap. Most of the other ingredients (except for fillers) are there to make the clothes look cleaner without cleaning anything.

How do you make car wash soap?
There are many different ways to make your own car wash soap. Simply using dish detergent in warm water is one way to make your own car wash soap. Another way is to use 1 cup of liquid dish washing soap and 12 tablespoons of powdered laundry detergent in warm water to make a good car wash soap. For a more eco-friendly car wash soap, you can use 1 cup of a vegetable-based oil soap or multipurpose green cleaner mixed with warm water. Does this help you?

What do I do when I use too much laundry soap?
If the soap is spilling out of the washer, then stop the wash cycle, set it to spin, and let it spin the soapy water out. Then reset the washer for a full wash and rinse cycle to get out all of the soap. If you set it for a rinse cycle only, it won't remove all of the suds, resulting in dingy laundry.
