Answer If you have an engineering degree, you could probably get a job as a NDT inspector or accident investigator. NTSB offers a course in accident investigation. They take you to a simulated crash and you practise reading the signs. The FAA and NTSB probably have other classes on NDT inspection such as borescope and eddy current inspections.
