Love, joy, peace, faith, patience, self control, mildness, goodness, and kindness. (Galatians 5:22,23)
The Seal of the Holy Spirit.
The holy spirit empowers the believers with only good qualities.
The Holy Spirit works in many ways. He gives us guidance, warning, knowledge, and understanding, He gives us stength, healing joy, and happiness. A faithful man can also perform great miraculous signs through the Spirit, even as much as raising a person from the died.
Essential human qualities, such as empathy, creativity, and resilience, cannot be wholly taken from us, as they are intrinsic to our nature. However, external factors like trauma, oppression, or societal conditions can diminish their expression or development. While these qualities may be suppressed or challenged, the potential for their resurgence remains within each individual. Ultimately, the human spirit has an inherent capacity to adapt and reclaim these qualities.
Nine qualities are listed as the fruit of the spirit in Galatians 5. Galatians 5:22-25 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith [faithfulness], Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." These qualities are one aspect of how Christian believers shine as lights in the world. The spirit of God within enables us to manifest God's power and to overcome lustful desires. As we operate the nine manifestations of the spirit (I Corinthians 12:7-11), we are filled to overflowing with God's power, and God keeps filling us. His Word becomes a living reality, and we minister to our fellow believers and to all men. Walking in the spirit in this manner, we are sowing to the spirit, and spiritual fruit is produced. Galatians 6:7-9 "...for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."
Divine qualities are the fruits of the Holy Spirit, written in Galatians 5.22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23. Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
