Thats a tricky question to answer! For a start I would say if the climber knew he/she had health problems then he/she should not be on the mountain to start with. If a climber becomes ill on Everest everything possible is done to get them off the mountain providing there is no risk to the rescuers.

Climber B at 20,000ft would have more diffaculty breathing. Because he is alot higher than climber A. As a matter in fact Climber A would be breathing normally because 2000ft is only about 1000 meters, which is an altitude to low that the airchange wouldent even be 1% different than it is at sea level.

Nobody would go and climb an avalanche on Mount Everest or any mountain. A climber would, if they could, run for cover because any avalanche is likely to kill him or her.
