Unfortunately there is no current "cure" for brain injury. There are many types of brain injury, open head, closed head, anoxic, strokes, acquired, etc. There are a number of different treatments available to help with brain injury from speech pathology to help with speaking, surgery to help with immediate bleeds and hematomas. The range of treatment should be led by either your primary care physician or a physiatrist who will help find the best treatments availble to help someone with a brain injury regain some of the skills or functions they may have lost due to the injury.

Avoid moving the head. The head should be kept as you found it if there is a suspected neck injury.

Most definitely YES. If the patient has a head injury, then it is possible that they will have swelling and/or internal bleeding which will put pressure on the brain. If the patient is allowed to fall asleep, then they could go into a coma and any info that the paramedics may need from the patient will not be available and may hinder treatment.
A person with a serious leg injury should not be allowed to walk. It is also true that a person with a serious head or back injury should not be allowed to walk.
A head injury can cause seizures at any age. This is one of the reasons why when a child bangs their head, they should be checked out
to protect your head from injury if you fall off.They only rarely are. But for what they cost and how easy they are to wear, they offer great protection against head injury if you should fall.
When you feel dizziness or sickness
The amount of time an injury takes to heal depends on the severity of the injury. A head injury from a person hitting their head should always be seen by a doctor to insure there is no fatal threat. If a person has a knot form from hitting there head, it could take weeks to heal.
