She doesn't have that many lines, and the best known is probably "But all the story of the night told over, and all their minds transfigured so together more witnesseth than fancy's images, and grows to something of great constancy, but howsoever, strange and admirable."
However, my favourite of Hippolyta's lines is "Well shone, moon!" Yep, that took an extraordinary feat of acting!
Hippolyta - DC Comics - was created in 1942.
No - Queen Hippolyta and the Amazons had to fight him to get it.
In Greek/Roman myth "all" of these apply." Was Hippolyta killed by Hercules thinking she was planning to kill him during his 9th labor? Was Hippolyta killed by Theseus during the Attica war? Was Hippolyta killed by her sister Pentheselia by accident during a hunt? Was Hippolyta killed by a fellow Amazon Molpadia to prevent Theseus from violating her during the Attica war? Or did Hippolyta die a normal but grieving death after her defeat in the Attica War?
Actually it is Hippolyta, Hippolyta was the most well-known of the Amazons. She was the daughter of Ares (God of War) and the Amazon Otrera. Hippolyta was a famous queen who fell in love with Heracles when the hero came on his mission to retrieve the golden girdle of Amazonian queenship as his ninth labor. She would have been happy to give him the girdle without issue, but the rumour was spread around the Amazon camp (by Hera in disguise) that Heracles had come to steal from Hippolyta, and the Amazons made war on him. Heracles assumed Hippolyta had planned it, killed her, took the girdle, and left. By the way, the girdle was a belt made to carry a sword.

Hippolyta
It is not given in the text. Hippolyta is usually played a little older than Hermia and Helena.
In one version Hippolyta's death is caused by the marriage of Theseus to Phaedra.
