Of course not. FOX is a TV Network whose sole purpose is to make money from their TV shows. If a TV show is not producing ratings then the network is not making ad revenue. Networks don't care 'about' the shows they make and air, just that people watch them and if they don't attract viewers they get cancelled. Networks don't feel bad about cancelling shows. Having said that, they are appealing to the cult fanbase they know Firefly had (& has) by making a tenth anniversary special.
Reality shows may be becoming too real in that they are exposing viewers to too much of their lives. Many people feel the evolution of reality TV has not been positive.
