Best Answer

The vast majority of reactions are mild, such as sneezing, nausea, or anxiety. These usually resolve by themselves. A moderate reaction, like wheezing or hives, may be treated with medication, but is not considered life threatening.

Increased temperature usually results in?

An increase in the kinetic energy of the molecules that a materiel is formed from. This can lead to a softening of the material or if enough energy is supplied the melting of the material. It can also cause chemical reactions which may alter the material. Both these processes occur in metamorphic rocks.

What happens when both chemicals are alkaline?

Displacement may occur, or if both are made up in water, displacement reactions may occur between the ions of water and each chemical may occur

What are side effects from insulin?

The greatest short term risk of insulin is hypoglycemia.Allergic reactions and skin reactions also may occur.

Can goldenrod cause side effects?

Allergic reactions may occur in some people.

Why cant you stop reactions from happening?

Chemical reactions may be slowed by lowering the temperature, but unlikely to stop all together.Nuclear reactions may be stopped by interposing an appropriate screen, such as a dense material, or at least one that is dense to radiation.

What is an another name for exothermic and for endothermic reactions?

it is a Many chemical reactions release energy in the form of heat, light, or sound. These are exothermic reactions. Exothermic reactions may occur spontaneously and result in higher randomness or entropy (ΔS > 0) of the system. They are denoted by a negative heat flow (heat is lost to the surroundings) and decrease in enthalpy (ΔH < 0). In the lab, exothermic reactions produce heat or may even be explosive. There are other chemical reactions that must absorb energy in order to proceed. These are endothermic reactions. Endothermic reactions cannot occur spontaneously. Work must be done in order to get these reactions to occur. When endothermic reactions absorb energy, a temperature drop is measured during the reaction. Endothermic reactions are characterized by positive heat flow (into the reaction) and an increase in enthalpy (+ΔH).

What is omnipaque?

Omnipaque is a contrast material used for imaging studies. This means if your doctor orders certain kinds of tests where he may want to see vessels or structures more clearly, he may order the test "with contrast." At this point you will be injected with said material, which will light up on the image, highlighting certain areas of your body.

What complications may occur following Meckel's diverticulectomy?

These include lung and heart complications, as well as reactions to medications, bleeding, and infection.

What will most likely happen to a plant that does not receive any warter?

It would die. Some plants (cacti) may store enough water to carry it through a dry season. Some plants, in a drought, may try to generate seeds that will sprout again after the dry period is over.

Why is contrast medium used in certain diagnostic tests?

Contrast is typically a dye that helps to outline organs or blood vessels. Flouroscopy, MRIs, or CAT scans can see much of the body structures without contrast, but to obtain more detailed images a physician may order the tests to be done "with contrast". Other types of contrast material may be barium (ex. a "barium swallow" or upper GI with contrast shows the esophagus and stomach) or radioactive (ex. for thyroid testing).

What are the side effects associated with using elder?

Side effects are considered rare. Mild abdominal distress or allergic reactions may occur.

Is Pyroclastic rock basic or acid?

Pyroclastic material is more often felsic (acidic) or intermediate, but mafic (basic) pyroclastic material may also occur.
