Depends on what MK MR2 you have but the MK3 (2000 onwards) I believe is Chilli red. The '91 and '92 Mk II MR2's were Super Red. I don't recall the name of the paint they used for '93+ Actually, my 1991 MKII Turbo is called Crimson Red. It is slightly darker than Super Red which I believe started in 1992.
The Toyota MR2s were made from the years 1984 to 2007.
As of my last knowledge update in October 2023, there are estimated to be around 15,000 to 20,000 Toyota MR2s still on the road in the U.S. However, this number can vary due to factors such as vehicle condition and owner retention. For the most accurate and current statistics, checking with automotive databases or organizations like the DMV would be advisable.
This is not something you would want to do, as Duracool is extremely flammable and is not approved by the EPA. MR2s run very hot, and if you were to spring a leak somewhere, this could be potentially very dangerous.
Unfortunately there is NO working cheat for it as of yet. All the listed cheats for that costume have proven to be utterly false. So, as of yet, the only way to actually get it is to complete all 180 Challenges.
Certainly, you can add a turbocharger to most any car. If the manufacturer does not offer one, an aftermarket option shold be available. Turbo 2nd gen Mr2s and Celicas have the same turbo manifold as the 1989 Camry. The engine code for the Camry is 3s-le as the other codes are 3sgte or ge, It's the same block same manifold I fit it on my Camry. All your exhaust work and intercooler work will have to be custom.
The 1993 Toyota MR2 can experience starting problems, often due to common issues such as a weak battery, faulty starter motor, or ignition system troubles. Additionally, age-related wear on electrical connections and components can contribute to starting difficulties. Regular maintenance and addressing any electrical issues promptly can help mitigate these problems. Overall, while not all 1993 MR2s will have starting issues, they are not uncommon.
