6/21/12 Just paid $62 lb. for R22 - for 9 lbs plus a $49 tune up fee, in Palm Desert,CA Service person said this was "common". No other material -- hope they found the leak, as this could get increasingly expensive. Best to call other companies and ask what their price is, first. However, did not have a/c for over a week and temps from 104 to 114, so I paid it.
