Henry won the battle of bosworth field on the 22nd of August 1485, however he had parliament backdate his reign to the 21st of August 1485 so that anybody who fougth against him could be declared traitors and have their lands forfeited to the crown. He was coronated on October 30th 1485. [He died in 1509]
Joey age 14. Hope this helps :D
I presume you mean Henry VII of England. In August 1485
Henry VIII's reign began when his father (Henry VII) died on 21st April 1509. He was crowned alongside his wife (Katherine of Aragon) on 24th June 1509 at Westminster Abbey.
Not by very much. Nothing revolutionary occured within religion during Henry VII's reign.
King Henry VII did not "give up the throne." His reign ended when he died on 21 April 1509.
He died of tuberculosis on the 21st April 1509.
Yes, and Richard III was defeated in battle by Henry Tudor who became Henry VII.
Not very similar. Henry VIII basically reformed the church to Protestantism. Henry the VII consolidated his power and began settling things down after the War of the Roses
All the European countries were still Catholic when Henry VII was on the throne, Germany and England would change faiths during Henry VIII's reign.
The Battle Of Bosworth Hope This Helped :) ♥
S. B Chrimes has written: 'The reign of Henry VII'
He reigned from 22 August, 1485 to 21 April, 1509.
Henry VIII was preceded by his father, Henry VII, who founded the Tudor dynasty after defeating Richard III at the Battle of Bosworth in 1485. Henry VII reigned from 1485 until his death in 1509, at which point Henry VIII ascended to the throne. Henry VII's reign was marked by efforts to stabilize the kingdom and strengthen the monarchy after the Wars of the Roses.
