The Hindu religion and Buddhist religion all believe that. Yes, the Buddhist faith believes that life does not end with the physical death.
The difficulty would be that one believes there is another life after our earthly life, the other that they are reborn (reincarnated) as a new life here on earth. The Christian would have to accept that their partner will not be in Heaven with him/her, which would be sad for them but if God will is for them to win their partner over then their example will be the most changing factor for them.
