Best Answer

Diems and Christianity. All U.S. Presidents have been either deists Unitarian Universalists or Christian ( to varying degrees). Of all Christian denominations, there have been more Episcopalian U.S. Presidents than any other.

NOTE: Some Presidents merely had a Christian preference and never claimed membership. Also, there have been five Presidents with either Unitarian membership or preference. Though many Christian churches don't consider Unitarianism as being a "real" Christian faith, the Unitarian church of yesteryear fell in line with what most Christian beliefs are today --save, perhaps, the notion of the Trinity.

Note: All Presidents with the possible exception of Obama have been Masons which means that affiliation with any church is a cover.
