The Catholic faith does not believe in divorce, although they do often allow for annulment of the marriage. But many Catholics don't want an annulment since it's basically saying the marriage never existed.

If you are talking about non-Abrahamic religions in Asia, then the answer is no, although it is a topic of debate within Buddhism, and Liberal Buddhists support the idea, though Buddhists as a whole do not accept gay marriage.
Everyone, everywhere should accept other religions, whether or not they do, I don't know. Buddhism may not accept other religions as a whole, but you should only think about it on a person to person basis.

It depends on the religion: 1. Most branches of Christianity are against same sex marriage. 2. Virtually all branches of Islam are against same sex marriage. 3. Most branches of Judaism accept same sex marriage, while Orthodox Judaism and some Conservative Jews are against it.

Dating before marriage is not allowed per all religions. However, dating is common outside marriage by all non adherents to religions and citizens in France are not exceptions.

Nobody is certain but what is certain is that marriage predates Abrahamic religions. The oldest world religions were pagan hence if you want to know what the earliest instances of marriage looked like you might want to look into modern reconstructions of ancient pagan religions. This can be found for example in Wicca or Neo-Druidism.
