first you need to patch your system using universal patch, there are three files to patch, after patching choose a glass theme to be installed
DirectX and Windows Display Driver Model
You are probably using a software to colorize or change windows themes. If you uninstall it and set the Theme (from Display Properies dialog) back to Windows XP. this will probably fix it
It is very easy to change your desktop theme on Windows XP. Go to start, select the control panel option. From that screen choose Appearance and Themes, then click on display. Choose the themes tab. You can choose a theme from the drop down menu or download one of your own.
it already comes installed with windows 7. type aero into the start menu to load it.
I would use Windows Basic theme.
If you are running Windows Vista you can switch between the Windows Vista theme or the Original Windows theme. To change between the two you need to go to the start menu, select 'control panel', 'appearance and personalisation', 'personalisation' and then 'theme'. Select the theme you want.
There are many ways to get the Windows XP Vista Theme for free. One may simply search Google images for the theme or download the theme from the Windows XP website.
The default Windows XP theme is called "Windows Classic". This is typically based on a blue theme, and a simple font. This can be activated via the Control Panel.
1.Open the Display Properties dialog box.2.On the Themes tab, under Theme, click the theme you want to modify.3.Make your changes to the theme.4.When you finish making changes, click Apply on the Themes tab, and then click Save As.5.Type a name for the theme and click OK.
The theme is a city where everything looks like glass and is very breakable
Probably because you are on a basic theme or a contrast theme. To fix this, go to your desktop, go right click>>personalizaton. Then click on a theme icon that has a transparent square. Once you do that, a rectangle will popup saying "Please wait"... and then glass colours will be activated. If you are at a contrast theme just press Alt-Shift-print screen(the shift is at the left of your keyboard, the right one doesn't work).
