First off, the one thing you MUST understand is that cattle are NOT plants, therefore not crops that are "cultivated." Secondly, latitude and the shape of the North American continent really have nothing to do with how cattle are raised or any of that sort of thing. Cattle are found all over the world in just about every latitude and longitude of the Earth you can imagine, except in the Arctic and the Antarctic. The North American continent can be a different shape and latitude (or rather, latitudes) and it wouldn't make a difference in how cattle, beef or dairy are raised or, as you like to say, "cultivated."

∙ 11y agoWrong choice of words: pigs aren't cultivated because they are animals, not crops or plants. Thus, none of it has anything to do with the success of the "cultivation" of pigs. Pigs are running rampant in the southern areas of the United States because they are super smart and are hard to track and kill. Pigs are out-growing the number of hunters allowed to hunt them millions to one. They can only be "cultivated" on farms if they stay on those farms. Thus the question has much irrelevancy and no merit whatsoever.

The vegetation among these landforms are what primarily lead to the successful breeding of wild horses (i.e., Mustangs) and the spread of feral horse populations all around NA, from Nevada, California, all the way up to West-central Alberta.

Mustangs are those feral horses that are found in North America. Wild horses found on other continents are not known as Mustangs, but by other names, such as Brumbies in Australia.
